Dedicated Wire Cutters – The pliers have a 0.9 inch cutting capacity for a variety of wire and cable sizes
Hardened Cutting Knives – The wire cutter has two opposing knives that meet in the center and are induction-hardened to 59 - 63 HRC
Flared Handles – The tops of the handles are flared to guard against live wires and also to give your hand a positive stop to push against, allowing better control with a looser grip
Materials – The body of the pliers is made of drop-forged steel that's oil-hardened to 43 - 45 HRC and enamel-coated, the yellow handle core is made of hard polypropylene, and the red handle overmold is made of soft, grippy thermoplastic elastomer (TPE)
